We are proud to offer our sweet stud dog,
BJ's Dasher, in our family affectionately
known as Bruiser, to stud your next litter.
Born 03-25-2007, this caring and gentle
family-oriented dog is everyone's dream
dog. He weighs in at only 8 lbs. and is a
beautiful chocolate & tan smooth-haired
piebald.
Bruiser has both AKC & APRI breeding
papers.
Price:
$ 150 for an AKC litter
$ 100 for an APRI litter
Here is how it works:
Your dam (female) must be up
on all of her shots (bring her shot
records). She must not weigh less
than 6.0-6.5 lbs. You must bring
your dog when she is in her mid-
season. She will first have her pre-
season (proestrus). Her genital
area will enlarge and vaginal
bleeding will start. This is not yet
the time to bring by.your dog.
This stage lasts about 7 days.
During this time male dogs will
take a strong interest in her but
she will not be ready to mate.
Next is the full estrus.stage when
she is said to be in midseason.
Her discharge is more yellowish
than bloody. This stage will last
a couple of days as well. The
dame will stand still and lift her
tail. She is now ready to receive
the male.
Drop off your dam on day 12 or
13 and allow her to stay at least
for one night so two ties can be
tried. The whelping date will be
calculated from the first tie
(btw. 58-63 days).
When your dog has the litter, you
call us and send us the fee. Upon
receiving that fee we will call you
with the registration number for
Bruiser that you must fill out to
announce your litter with AKC or
APRI.
B.t.w., bring your dog's own food
so she will not have a change in
diet.
